Bio
Ian Streicher has taught thousands of students as a classroom teacher and privately tutored hundreds of students. While the Head of Academics for Kaplan's Chicago Area Operations, Ian even trained and supervised over a hundred tutors.

While he knows the GMAT backwards and forwards, Ian's greatest strength is his ability to convey ideas across in a way that resonates with his students. He has always been adept at explaining difficult concepts in ways that penetrate. This ability comes from Ian’s outstanding listening skills and the fact that he understands the struggle to master a concept or a skill. Ian likes to say that “Great teachers are always constantly learning. This feeds their intellectual hunger but also figures in their ability to get into their students' heads.”

Ian's sense of empathy and tremendous communication skills have always made him an extremely popular teacher. His 'alumni' attend schools throughout the country, including all of the Ivy League universities, top-tier liberal arts schools, and nationally ranked universities.

Ian has studied at the Universities of California and Illinois. He received his B.A. from Northeastern Illinois University.
